Having secured early projects, the business needed an identity that reflected the quality of their work and the care they bring to each build. The original branding, created quickly under the name M.E Co, was functional but lacked the presence and clarity needed to support long-term growth. They were looking for something more considered. An identity that felt dependable and approachable, while still carrying the weight and precision associated with their craft.
We evolved the name to MeCo, standing for Meticulous Construction, and developed an identity centred on the humble brick. This became both a visual device and a structural principle. The system draws on the logic of bricklaying itself, repetition, alignment and connection, forming a framework that can be built upon over time. The palette is grounded and confident, reinforcing the practical nature of the business without overstatement. The identity extends into a tessellating grid used across digital and printed applications, creating a consistent and recognisable structure. This allows content to be arranged flexibly while maintaining a clear and ordered appearance. Supporting materials were designed to carry this system through into day-to-day use, ensuring the brand remains coherent across signage, documentation and online presence. The result is an identity that reflects the same precision and pride found in the work itself, giving MeCo a foundation that can grow alongside the business.
